The Group achieved yet another milestone by being awarded the prestigious Power Project in the Multimodal International Hub Airport and Special Economic Zone (MIHAN) by the Government of Maharashtra in an International commercial bidding whereby the Group will generate, transmit and distribute 246 MW Power Plant along with an additional 25MW Diesel Generator Set for the project on Built Operate and Transfer (BOT) basis for a period of 33 years. The project comprises of 4 units of 61.5 MW each.

Abhijeet MADC Nagpur Energy Private Limited (AMNEPL), a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) promoted jointly by the Abhijeet Group and Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC) for providing reliable, uninterrupted and low cost Electricity to the projects of Maharashtra Government viz. MIHAN and SEZ areas. Total capital outlay for the project is around Rs. 14 Billion. It will thus emerge as a world class facility ensuring excellent quality in generation, transmission and distribution of power. The investment for the Project will be Rs. 11000 Million. Group further plans to add an additional capacity of 250 MW in Phase II.
