CIAL has acquired assets of Rajinder Steel Limited located at Siltara Growth Center Raipur in liquidation for 75.50 crores.  The company is further investing another Rs. 130 crores for expansion and refurbishment of the existing facility and setting up an oxygen plant. After the expansion, the facilities would be expanded to 400000 MT Steel Melt shop and Hot Strip Mill along with other associated utilities.  The acquisition makes CIAL an integrated steel player from captive coal to DRI and HR Strip manufacturing.
