Corporate Power Limited (CPL) is a Special Purpose Vehicle of Abhijeet Group incorporated in the year 2006 for the Power Venture in Jharkhand. The phase-1 comprising of 540 MW (4x135) of “Matrishri Usha Jayaswal Mega Power Plant”, a 1215 MW Pithead based Thermal Power plant in Jharkhand, I is under implementation. The EPC contract has been awarded to Shandong Electric Power Construction Company 1 (SEPCO1) of China, one of the most experienced and qualified contractors in the field. The first phase will be completed by end of the year 2010 and subsequently Phase II of 2X330 MW will be initiated.
