The Group has been allotted a number of Captive Coal Blocks from Ministry of Coal, Government of India for meeting the coal requirement of its Steel and Power Projects located in various States of India.
The forthcoming years shall see Abhijeet Group as a major player in Coal Mining with involvement of mining of coal to the tune of over 10 million tonnes per annum.
To fuel its ambitious plan of becoming one of the major players in Cement Sector, the Group has a number of Limestone Mines in the State of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The forthcoming years shall see Abhijeet Group as a major player in Limestone Mining too.
The Group has also been allotted Iron Ore, Manganese Ore, Dolomite and Quartz Mines in different States of India.
The Mining Projects of Abhijeet Group are under different stages of implementation. Financial Closures for some of the Projects have already been achieved. All the statutory clearances have been obtained, required land is being acquired and commissioning of mines is expected shortly.
The Group has required expertise in undertaking:

- Environment Clearance and Forest Clearance.

- Construction of Mine Infrastructure

The Group has a full fledged Mining Division consisting of qualified Mining Engineers and Geologists capable of undertaking challenging assignments of development of mines in remote areas. The Group also has association with Recognized Qualified Persons approved by Ministry of Coal / Ministry of Mines for formulation of Mining Plans for Coal / Non-coal Minerals.
The Group also has association with experienced and resourceful contractors who are involved in mining since pre-independent era and have their own fleet of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM).
The Mining Division of Abhijeet Group is also actively pursuing commercial development of Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) in India and also other Countries. The Group has strategic tie-up with Ergo Exergy Inc, Canada, the World Leader in UCG Technology. |
