Manoj Jayaswal
A true entrepreneur, a veteran leader and a visionary, Shri Manoj Jayaswal, 53, is the chairman of the Abhijeet Group. Mr Jayaswal champions critical institutional building initiatives, drives key external relations and mentors and develop senior leaders. He not only lends vision to the group but also ensures that the vision gets effectively translated into action by having right people at the right place in the right time. Having over three decades of valuable experience, Mr Jayaswal has directed his energy away from the day to day management of business to developing dedicated top leadership for individual business verticals and various corporate functions for accelerating the business growth and building a stronger institution committed to deliver results. While his involvement continues in the most critical group level decisions, he also monitors the execution of the power, steel and ferroalloy projects of the group. |

Abhishek Jayaswal
is the young, enthusiastic and ambitious force that infuses dynamism in the group. Mr Jayaswal, a diehard entrepreneur, is involved in managing the day to day operations of the entire group and provides leadership to the heads of individual business vertical and corporate functions like Finance, IT and Legal. His strength lies in new venture creation, financing and project execution. An MBA from Sheffield University, UK, Mr Jayaswal, knows the art of managing people by leveraging diversity and motivating them to perform their best. Mr Jayaswal is a technology expert and has envisaged and successfully executed the SAP implementation in the entire group. He specializes in designing of innovative methods and strategies right from financing, contracting, project structuring. His major achievements include the securitisation of the two toll road projects, partnering with IDFC in Jas Toll Road Project, takeover of RSL and financing of DRI and Power projects.Mr Jayaswal has also been sharing his knowledge on current technology in the core sector areas through his speeches in various conferences. Recently he made a deliberation on the UCG technology in the UCG Conference in Houston, USA. |

Ms. Swatee Jayaswal
is a Director of Titen Minerals and Steel Ltd. and some other Group Companies. She is a B.Arch, with Master’s in Construction Management & Infrastructure Development, she has five years of experience in Project Conceptualization, Designing, Planning, Implementation and Management. Before taking on the reins of infrastructure and EPC businesses of Abhijeet Group, she acquired business development and construction management experience from India’s biggest real estate company. She has set “Vision 5000” for roads to complete roads and infrastructure projects of Rs. 5000 crores in next three years. She is actively pursuing the Road Projects, Power Projects, EPC Projects & has been instrumental in establishing alliances with Theiss, Leighton & GVK for various projects. |

Arun Kumar Shrivastava
is a Director of Corporate Power Ltd. and some other Group Companies. He is having 40 years of experience in the Coal Industry in the Private and Public Sectors. He is an authority on mining related matters like under ground mines, opencast mines, washeries including construction and operation; design and construction of large coal handling plants. He is responsible for exploration, planning, construction and operations of mines of the Group.
He also has an expertise in Environmental issues and obtaining clearances.Mr. Shrivastava is B.E (Honors), LLB (Honors), M.A (Pub.Admn), MA (Eco), FIE (India). He has also attended training program on Coal Beneficiation in Australia under UNDP and has participated in various international conferences including the Austmine conference held at Perth. |

Dr. Vidya Sagar Garg
is a Director of Corporate Ispat Alloys Ltd. and some other Group Companies. He is the driving force behind the mining operations and regulatory procedures of the Group. He is responsible for the acquisition of coal mining operations right from allocation, seeking approvals to performing the required due diligence. He is Ph.D. in Management with rich industrial experience of 31 years with Pratap Steel Rolling Mills Limited, Eastern Coalfields Limited, Western Coalfields Limited (Coal India Limited), Ispat Industries Limited and Auro Textiles (Vardhman Spinning & General Mills Limited) Badi, Himachal Pradesh in various capacities such as VP, Auro Textiles; CEO, Bailadila Mineral Development Company Limited, a JV of NMDC, a Government of India enterprise, Government of Madhya Pradesh and Ispat Industries Limited; President, Ispat Industries Limited; Head Materials Management Department, Coal India Limited. He even had a brief tenure as a Director, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management & Technology, Kurukshetra University, Haryana. He has got an interesting blend of academic knowledge and industrial experience which helps him in effectively putting theory into practice. |

Sudhir Gupta
is a Director of Abhijeet MADC Nagpur Energy Pvt. Ltd. He is a civil engineering graduate having a vast experience in projects right from infrastructure road projects, water projects, airport projects, building projects to mega power plants & Refinery projects. The highly prestigious Nelamangala-Tumkur highway project was completed under his able guidance.
Prior to joining the group he has worked with technology-driven engineering and construction organizations like L&T and Reliance. Mr Sudhir Gupta also regularly contributes article to Magazines like "Indian Infrastructure' , Business World , Business India etc . Arun Gupta
is a Director of Corporate Power Ltd. He is the force behind the setting up of pithead based power and steel plants in the states of Jharkhand, Maharastra, Bihar and West Bengal.Mr Gupta is a Mechanical Engineer from NIT, Nagpur and has good experience in the Thermal Power Plant Technology. He had a very rich tenure with the O.P. Jindal Group, for 15 years where he handled many challenging assignments, including setting up of 1000 MW Super Thermal IPP with an investment of more than Rs.4,000 Crs.
Mr Gupta has the expertise in the setting up and commissioning of various power projects with different operational philosophies, viz. Fluidized Bed Boilers, Waste Heat Recovery Boilers along with all kinds of Steam Turbine Generators and associated auxiliaries. He is an expert in project execution with commitment towards time, cost and quality. |

PN Krishnan
is a Director of Corporate Power Ltd. and JAS Infrastructure and Power Ltd. He is heading the Corporate finance for the Power division of the Group. He is also responsible for the equity raising of the entire Group. Mr Krishnan is having over 22 years of rich and varied experience in the fields of Finance and Legal matters with diverse industries including consumer durables, IT, Print & Publication, Financial services and utility enterprises. He gained invaluable experience and contributed immensely during his 12 year long tenure with Essar Power. He has bagged a Masters Degree in Financial Management from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management and has completed Law from Bombay University. He is also a Member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India.Mr Krishnan is the member of Indo-Japanese Joint Business Council, Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bombay Management Association and Independent Power Producers Association of India. He has also been sharing his rich knowledge in the power sector through his speeches in various conferences like CFO FORUM organized by Business Week at Singapore in 2002, the Asia Pacific Regional Conference in Power held at Beijing in October 2003 and November 2005.
Mr Krishnan has bagged a Masters Degree in Financial Management from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management and has completed Law from Bombay University. He is also a Member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India. |

Sachin Johari

Prior to joining our Company, he was the chairman and managing director of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited. He has over 35 years of experience in engineering of control equipments products, construction and project management of thermal, nuclear and industrial sets in power sector, supercritical thermal technology and gas based power plants using advanced class gas turbines. He has been conferred with the ‘Enertia Individual Contribution Award in thermal power sector’ by Enertia (a journal on sustainable energy and power) in 2008 and the ‘distinguished alumnus award’ by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 2009. |

He has acted as president of the Association of Hospitals, Mumbai and chairman of the board of trustees and board of management of Bhatia General Hospital for over 12 years. He has also acted as the chairman of the taxation laws standing committee of Lawasia, an association of lawyers of Asia and Pacific regions. He was the joint secretary of Income Tax Appellate Tribunal Bar Association for over 15 years and was one of its vice presidents for over five years. He has been named as one of the leading lawyers of Asia by Asia Law Journal, Hong Kong from 2006 to 2010 and as one of India’s top 50 independent directors in a survey undertaken by the Capital Markets Magazine in 2003. |

He is internationally certified Project Director of IPMA Level A. He is a member of the Panel of Arbitrators of Singapore International Arbitration Centre and SCOPE.

Mr R A Somani
is an Executive Director and heads the cement business of the group. He is a First Class Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Sardar Patel University, Gujarat and has more than 34 years of enriched and valuable experience.
He has to his credit the commissioning of Cement Projects like Kadappa (5,000 TPD), OCL India (4,000 TPD) and Ariyalur Cement (5,000 TPD) with latest technology, along with Three Captive Power Projects each 27 MW with CBFC boiler and Air Cooled Condenser at Ariyalur and OCL India Sites.
He is an expert in the field of Project Management, Project Execution, Project Budgeting and Controls, Project Fund Flow Management, Project Evaluation, Project Monitoring and Review and Project Commissioning.
